The Brief

This case study is a little different, because it is one of my own projects. I run monetizedmom.com as a place where I can serve the blogging community with what I have learned in my entrepreneurial journey. I wanted a feminine design that wouldn't turn off male visitors. It needed to have a strong foundation with the ability to add e-commerce, at a later date.

For this project, I used the Genesis framework and the Epik child theme. One of the objectives of this project, was to take a theme that was very harsh-looking, but very functional, and see how far I could customize it for my needs. The best thing about designing for yourself is that you get to go where your heart takes you. I am very happy with the way this turned out.
